At VietJet QAZAQSTAN, safety and reliability are at the core of everything we do. We are looking for a qualified B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Line Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continued airworthiness of the fleet by performing and certifying maintenance on aircraft avionic and electrical systems in compliance with Company procedures, manufacturer documentation and applicable aviation regulations.

 

Responsibilities:

Perform line maintenance on De Havilland Dash 8 Q400 aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance data and Company procedures.

Carry out inspection, troubleshooting, fault isolation and rectification of aircraft avionic and electrical systems.

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in compliance with Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Wiring Diagram Manual (WDM), Structural Repair Manual (SRM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) and other approved maintenance documentation.

Perform functional and operational tests following maintenance actions.

Inspect, repair and document Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) defects.

Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) within the scope of the B2 authorisation.

Accurately record all maintenance activities in the Aircraft Technical Log and maintenance information systems.

Coordinate maintenance activities with B1 Engineers, MCC, CAMO, Flight Crew, Airport Authorities and contracted maintenance providers.

Raise material requests for spare parts, tools, consumables and avionic components required for maintenance.

Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery operations throughout the Company‘s network, including outstations.

Participate in emergency response activities and technical investigations when required.

Ensure compliance with Company Safety Management System (SMS), Human Factors principles and Quality procedures.

Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment at all times.

Requirements:

Mandatory

Valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence Category B2 or ICAO equivalent accepted by the Company.

Valid type rating on De Havilland Dash 8 Q400 (preferred/required depending on recruitment needs).

Minimum 3 years of aircraft line maintenance experience.

Experience performing troubleshooting and defect rectification on:

  • Navigation Systems
  • Communication Systems
  • Flight Management Systems (FMS)
  • Auto Flight Systems
  • Surveillance Systems
  • Cockpit Display Systems
  • Electrical Power Generation & Distribution Systems

Experience issuing Certificates of Release to Service (CRS).

Knowledge of EASA Part-145, Part-66 and Continuing Airworthiness requirements.

Good knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and technical documentation.

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Computer literacy and experience using aircraft maintenance information systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current Human Factors training.

Current EWIS training.

Current Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) training.

Experience with AMOS or other Maintenance Information Systems.

Experience working in a Part-145 approved maintenance organisation.

Additional aircraft type ratings would be considered an advantage.
