Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provides ad hoc and scheduled vehicle transportation in support of Company needs
Technical control (pre-trip and post-trip inspection) of the assigned vehicle
Safe operation of the vehicle, including ad hoc transport runs to support Operations as required
Maintenance and accurate completion of trip sheets/waybills
Ensuring the safety, roadworthiness, and cleanliness of the vehicle at all times
Coordinating with Operations to respond promptly to ad hoc transportation requests
Reporting any vehicle faults, incidents, or safety concerns to the manager without delay
Carrying out other assignments from the manager not directly specified in this job description but related to the functions of Ground Handling/Operations
Requirements:
Secondary education (minimum)
Valid Category "D" driving license with a minimum of 3 years‘ driving experience
Total work experience of at least 3 years
At least 1 year of professional experience in a role with similar functional responsibilities (driving/transport)
Valid Airside/Ramp Driving Permit, or ability to obtain one in accordance with airport authority requirements, to operate vehicles within the ramp/apron area
Aviation Security (AVSEC) certificate is an advantage
Knowledge of airport ground transport/airside rules is an advantage
Good communication skills and ability to respond flexibly to ad hoc operational requests
